Learning English at university has been a very good experience. I enjoyed pretty much to write posts in a personal blog that I could customize as I wish. It was grateful to do fun activities, as talking about yourself and share different experiences about some subjects. That kind of things created the environment to discover our lacks and fix them.
About the use of blogs, I enjoyed so much to write about the proposed subjects that my blogs usually ended being double the minimum amount of words, hee hee. I liked so much the blog thing that I spended a whole day to customize it with a background, icons, text fonts, text colors, and I even tried to put music to it! (altough it didn't work at all 😢).
I guess there's a lot of things I need to improve in English, like learning more words, concepts and getting familiar with the languaje. Where I have to improve the most is in the pronunciation. And it makes sense, I don't speak english as much as I write it, or read it. It's a subject I hadn't had the circumstances to put it on practice, but well, I'm going to get better in the same measure I speak english in the future.
Outside the english class, I use English almost every day. I feel so used to it that I watch English videos, English series and read English texts as much as I do with Spanish things. That way I keep practicing my English. But well, it keeps being necessary to improve my pronunciation. So, I guess it wouldn't be bad to download a smartphone App for speaking with English people and, in addition, make new friends! haha.
Summer Holidays ☀
Hey guys!! what are you gonna do for this summer holidays?
I don't have fun by just traveling. I have fun by meeting new people, creating bonds and learning new things. These are things I can experience by traveling, but they're also things I can do without moving from the city. I don't really need to shelter from the routine in somewhere else than the city, because I find that escapes in my everyday nature. Until a year ago, one of that escapes was Scout.
I'll assume that people who read this post have, at least, a basic idea of what the Scout movement is haha 😆 I went every saturday and know new people, new useful things. But the most exciting thing about scout is to go camping! Summer camps are the best.
I'm not a beneficiary member (BM) anymore. When you grow up, you can choose if you keep being a scout by being a scout leader or leave the movement having a scout citizenship. Just because of my personal projects, y chose to be a scout citizen. However, many of my close friends and people i know keep being scout leaders.
This year they need some extra help to take care of the BM's in the summer camp, and I'm pretty sure I'm going to go there.
It will be one entire week in the south of Chile, far far away from civilization. I enjoy woods, grass and rivers much more than beaches, sand and the sea. It's more relaxing and far from the mass of traveler people, far from TV and that kind of things. There's space for thinking about other things, aside with people who is significant to me. My best friends are going to be there leading BM's with me. We're going to do some fun games and activities to make BM's have fun, think about certain important things and to have better connection with their feelings.
I feel it's an experience that's worth experiencing, I'll learn a lot about me by teaching other people, but I'm also going to learn a lot about the children 😊
